Antarctic Expeditions
This voyage is tailored for amateur as well as professional photographers, but you don’t need to be a photographer to join these Antarctic expeditions.
Anyone who loves nature will feel equally at home on this trip to one of the most biologically rewarding places on Earth and experience a primeval landscape in its silent beauty.
Past guests have included amateur sailors who wanted to experience sailing across the Drake Passage, and adventuresome guests who wanted to experience sailing Antarctica in a very private way and not on a crowded cruise ship.
No sailing experience is necessary, but all guests are required to do ice watches on a rotating schedule while in Antarctica. This is an active, participatory Arctic expedition!
The length, commitment and remoteness of this expedition requires participants to be in overall good health, mentally prepared and to have a strong team spirit (and good sense of humor!), as we will spend periods of time in close quarters with each other. Our yacht is cozy but if you expect a hair dryer and bathrobe in your cabin, this Arctic expedition may not be for you.
